All of humanity should unite to establish a supranational-level Development Federation (an association or department),
responsible for setting guidelines for the progress of human civilization.
For example, we should define professional qualification rules for political candidates,
in order to prevent dictators from reappearing in human history.
Politics is the management of public affairs.
It should be a force that makes people and society better.
Yet many events in human history are not natural disasters but man-made catastrophes.
Since politics is a profession that leads human development,
we must ensure that candidates meet the most fundamental condition: having no conflict of interest.
All savings and assets of the candidate and their relatives within three degrees of kinship must not exceed 60% of the national middle-class average assets.
Before running for office, all other personal assets must be liquidated and donated entirely to this Development Federation or to public causes.
No trusts, no hidden transfers—everything must be given up transparently.
Once elected, this rule applies for life.
This standard is deliberately strict, so that only those who truly seek to serve humanity will step forward.
If one’s goal is to make money, they should become a businessperson.
If it is power, then work in a major corporation.
If it is fame, become a celebrity.
But do not choose politics as a way to harm nations and people.
We must elevate political ethics to the highest level.
Only individuals who are already accomplished in society and held in high regard
should be eligible to run for office.
Because they have already demonstrated their ability to solve problems.
Because they are willing to abandon wealth in pursuit of higher achievements in life.
And the first step in that higher achievement is to renounce all money,
to live without financial gain, and to serve humanity instead.
The pursuit of fame and recognition is acceptable—
but under such conditions, that fame will be for good reasons.
As the saying goes: “Some people are willing to risk their lives for profit, but no one does business at a loss.”
Yet when someone signs away all their wealth voluntarily,
that noble spirit alone deserves respect.
If all candidates start from this same foundation,
our politics will no longer be driven by private interests or the wealthy elite.
Instead, it will return to representing the interests of the majority.
The future and the light of humanity depend on raising politics to this higher level.
